Industrial Design
The professional service of creating and developing concepts and specifications that optimize the function, value, and appearance of products and systems for the mutual benefit of both user and manufacturer.
While finishing my senior year of college prep highshool, I took a tour of the Knoxville Industrial Design Department at Philips Consumer Electronics. I knew from that day on what I wanted to do. I wanted to create and mold the products of the future... So I was given the chance to work as an apprentice under the Director of Design, and my story began.
My experience at KID introduced me to the limitless boundries of imagination and manufacturing. I was taught the foundations industrial design, engineering, pattern making, model making, and many other facets of the product development process. I have been able to leverage the experince I gained there thru many of my other disiplines.
